How It Began
In April 2021, we met at an unlikely time during the pandemic while Tracy was visiting Taiwan. Our first date started at a café in Taipei, where a quick coffee turned into hours of conversation and multiple stops. When the country shut down soon after, Tracy returned to San Francisco. A few weeks later, John flew to the U.S. to see her again, leading to our first trip to Napa together.
Closing the Distance
After a year of flights and time zones, we decided to make life simpler. Tracy moved to Taipei, and our weekends filled with coffee runs, city walks, and little getaways.
Life in Motion
During this time, we had a few stretches of long distance again, juggling work, travel, and time apart. Through it all, everything stayed steady, and by the end of 2023 we found ourselves back together in Taiwan, this time in Taichung.
A New Chapter
As we settled into life together, we made time to travel and explore new places, Bali, Japan, Napa, and Hong Kong being some of our favorites. One trip stood out from the rest: September 5th, 2024 in Singapore, where John proposed.
Building Our Life Together
2025 began with a return to California in search of a wedding venue. In Napa, we fittingly found the place that felt right for us. Between work and travel, our days have been filled with simple things like perfecting our morning coffee, learning to golf, and finishing our new home.
Celebration
We're excited to return to Napa next May, where many of our favorite memories were made, and to gather with the people we love most!
